Hollywood je službeno pritisnuo start! Nominacije za 83. Zlatne globuse su objavljene, a utrka za najpoželjnije zlatne kugle može početi. Glumci Marlon Wayans i Skye P. Marshall u ponedjeljak su otkrili tko je sve u igri ove godine i odmah je jasno da nas čeka zanimljiva i poprilično raznolika sezona. Globusi su ove godine odlučili malo promiješati karte. Većina kategorija ima po šest nominacija, kategorija za box office postignuće čak osam, a uvedena je i nova nagrada, najbolji podcast, prvi takav iskorak među velikim dodjelama.
Ceremoniju 11. siječnja ponovno će voditi komičarka Nikki Glaser, koja je prošle godine osvojila publiku bez imalo treme, a ovog puta pred njom je još veći zadatak. Tri dana ranije u posebnoj emisiji ‘Golden Eve’ bit će uručene i dvije počasne nagrade. Helen Mirren primit će priznanje Cecil B. DeMille, a Sarah Jessica Parker nagradu Carol Burnett.
Prijenos dodjele moći će se pratiti na CBS-u i Paramount+.
